29 Aug Enhance Your Ski Gear
It’s that moment of year again. You figure out the period of time: it’s getting warm outside, spring is in full swing, and you’re feeling sad that ski season is running out. You might currently be nostalgic about the beauty of a crisp January morning with fresh powder and blue skies (okay, yeah, take us back!!!!), the sunshine almost blinding you with its happiness.
It’s a great time of year to gear swap. Each person knows this, but if you’re trying to save a buck, obtaining new gear at the beginning of the season isn’t the way to go. Sure, you’ll get the new line, but you’ll take care of it, too. However, in the end of the season, you can modernize from the gear you currently have and get sale priced prices because stores will be eradicating older inventory to make room for the new arrivals for the next season.
Take into consideration hitting up a ski swap at the beginning of next season if it’s too picked over and you’re unable to find the gear you ‘d like. This is an excellent approach to undergo tons of used gear at markdown prices, and sell your old gear as well, too. In addition, it’s a wonderful place to go if you’re trying to outfit the entire family with ski gear (buying new for tons of people can add up fast!).
And p.s.: When you’re planning a last hurrah ski trip to the slopes this season, invite all your buddies and reserve a coach! And when you put the poles and skis away at the end of the season, remember we’re here for whatever summer sport is coming next on your schedule.
